Tool Shed is our DIY and Gardening support team. It’s a group made up of staff and volunteers who have a wide range and depth of skills! We can help you or someone you know with anything from changing a lightbulb to sorting out an overgrown garden. Unfortunately we do not have the capacity to assist with larger projects such as house moves. Our aim is to equip and empower those who need our help and to see them learn skills that they can pass on to others. We also know that helping someone out practically can lead to good conversation and quality time. We are privileged to help those who maybe feel isolated or are unable to spend time with others in the community.
Our heart is to practically assist those who are not able to help themselves. We believe Tool Shed is a great way of achieving and embodies what we read in 1 Thessalonians where it says “make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: you should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependant on anybody.”

In early 2021 we were successful in a grant application for investment in our toolshed and allotment projects. We are so thankful to Severn Trent for their investment in what we do and we know that the money will be put to good use to enable us to reach those who need help in our local community.
