Here at lifechurch we love the global church and global mission. One of our key global mission focuses is Serbia. We have been working with the amazing Radeka family for over 12 years. Nesha and Vesna live in Novi Sad, Serbia. With their 3 children, Danilo, David and Anastasia. Novi Sad is the 2nd biggest city in Serbia outside of its Capital Belgrade. With over 6million in population, Serbia only has only 1% of its population Evangelical Christians.
Nesha and Vesna are incredibly inspirational, passionate lovers of Jesus. They pastor a church called Nexus, and Vesna also runs a pro life organisation called Choose Life. Choose life was the first pro life charity in the Balkans and serves vulnerable ladies who find themselves pregnant and are questioning whether or not to keep their babies.
Nexus church is one of the largest churches in Serbia (just over 100 people) and also has a church plant in a Roma community local to its base in Novisad. This church plant runs a Saturday evening service and Nexus runs on a Sunday evening.
We regularly send short term mission teams to help run Kids and youth camps, leadership development training and community focussed projects. At lifechurch we believe missional focus should be based in fruitful relationships. We have a very strong relationship with Nesha and Vesna and Nexus church which sees them also visiting the UK once a year.
