NLI Eurasia helps to plant new churches and assists emerging congregations in the former Soviet nations of Ukraine and Russia. Much of our work involves training, coaching and financially supporting new church planters. We encourage entrepreneurial models where we assist church-planters in small business ventures to provide for themselves as they develop new churches.
In Russia, NLI Eurasia partners in a large program to plant 200 churches. We encourage church expressions that engage with and add value to their local communities. A great example of this is the Tochilino LIFE Center, located in the Tochilino, a deprived region of Novokuznetsk in (pop. 500,000) Siberia Russia.

The LIFE Center is a community center model, where a small ‘exercise gym’ provides a valued service to the Tochilino community and great opportunity for relational evangelism. It is home to the new church plant and also has a living space for the pastor and his family. A two-bay car wash provides income to support the LIFE Center and church.

NLI in Ukraine
In Ukraine, NLI’s work is coordinated by Jim Morris and primarily focussed on assisting emerging congregations, acting as mentor and friend to many pastors and leaders. We have assisted with practical projects such a church building renovations, equipment for orphanages and blessing village schools with English teaching as means of relational evangelism and summer camps. We also send mission teams to Ukraine from Life Church.
