Many of our regulars at Life Church will have noticed the back garden of the church building has had a facelift too! An amazing team of volunteers have worked tirelessly to transform the space by building beds to plant fruit and vegetables. They have done a fantastic job and are already seeing some great growth! All of the food that is grown will be given to the foodbank so they can use the fresh food in the food parcels.

In the future we are looking at partnering with an organisation who care for young people in difficult situations struggling with different mental health issues. They will assign some of the young people to come and look after the allotment. They will learn how to care for different types of fruit & veg and they will take ownership of their own patch. We believe that giving people ownership and responsibility in something that they can see tangible growth in, is hugely beneficial for someone's mental health. Again, it’s another area that we are really excited to see God work in and heal people in times of trouble.
